Example was one of the acts to perform at this weekend’s V Festival, and whilst he was there he decided to reveal that himself and Dizzee Rascal have been discussing plans to record a number together…

According to The Metro, Example said: “I’ve done a song with Wretch, I’ve done a song with Chipmunk, Chase and Status and Pro Green. I’ve worked with everyone expect for Dizzee. I discussed it with him the other day and I said that I want to sing on his new album, so we’ll see what happens.”

Example was thoroughly pleased with his own performance at the festival, saying: “I’ve just had the busiest field of the day, apparently. It was the same stage as Dizzee and Tinie but they said they’ve never seen it that full. They closed the field – I smashed it. When I came off stage I felt like I had taken the biggest pill ever. Not that I’ve done drugs but it was pretty euphoric.”
