Taylor Momsen is no longer a regular on Gossip Girl with her character Jenny Humphrey only set to appear in a few episodes of the forthcoming fifth series.

The news will come as no shock to GG fans who saw Momsen take a similar role in Season 4, though that time it was Momsen's musical career that was cited for being unable to committ to a regular spot.

Producers at the time claimed 'creative differences' for Momsen's reduced part and that seems to be the case again. Perhaps Momsen wanted Jenny to start wearing her underwear as an outfit and talking about collaborating with John Lennon, we don't know.

It was claimed last year that Momsen had been suspended from Gossip Girl but that story was denied by the programme makers. Gossip Girl season 5 will return later this year.
