Louis Walsh Backs Girls Aloud To Reform Minus Cheryl Cole

Would it be the same?

By David Renshaw on Tuesday 19th April 2011

Louis Walsh has said that Girls Aloud should reform without Cheryl Cole, saying that they would be just as succesful if not more so.

The claims come emidst rumours the girls are tired of waiting for Cheryl to rejoin the band. It is claimed in Heat that Kimberley, Nicola, Sarah and Nadine want to record new material and tour in 2012.

A source told the mag: "The girls are very keen to reunite and start working on another album. Their main love is the band and they all feel ready to get back and start recording. But Cheryl can't commit to that right now."

"Obviously it's going to be very difficult without Cheryl, but they know they'll do well with another album and Cheryl could even join them for the tour next year if she's available. It makes sense and it doesn't mean that she'd leave the band - she'd just be taking a break."

Former Girls Aloud manager Walsh backs the idea, stating: "Absolutely. Westlife became more successful without Brian McFadden, and the Spice Girls did it without Geri Halliwell."

Casting aside the fact this story is quite clearly a load of rubbish, surely Sarah's destined to be amazing work with DJ Roger Sanchez will stop any reunion happening soon. Right??
