Mark Ronson is set to turn his hand to movie scoring, securing a deal to provide the music on Russell Brand's upcoming re-make of 'Arthur'.
The producer, whose hits include 'Bang, Bang, Bang' and 'Valerie', said that writing music for films was one of his long-time ambitions.
"I'm doing the music for Arthur. I'm just finishing it. It's my first time doing a film score and it's something I've wanted to do for a really long time," Ronson told The Mirror.
Arthur, which stars Russell Brand and Dame Helen Mirren, will be released in the UK on April 22.
