Cheryl Cole reportedly wants to get pregnant with Derek Hough's baby.

The singer, who recently split from footballer Ashley Cole, apparently made the decision to get up the duff when she was fighting off malaria earlier this summer.

According to new!'s source: “When Cheryl was cooped up at home after her illness, she realised she isn't getting any younger and wants to be a mum sooner rather than later.

“She said Derek is the perfect guy, so it goes without saying she thinks he would make an amazing dad.”

What a load of rubbish... she may not be able to sing but she's a smart girl. I think she's smart enough to be asking herself questions at the moment like "am I in a rebound relationship?", "should I get to know the next guy a bit better before I jump in head first?" and "Will my new guy get scared off if I ramdomly start saying I want a baby after just meeting him?" Who write these stories... I'm sure she will just adopt a little third world kid when the time is right!

Why does it have to be a lie? Derek has said on DWTS in an interview that he would love to have children. He would be an outstanding father.
