Katie Waissel has divided opinion. In that everyone in the world hates her apart from us.
The X Factor contestant was probably the only one in Saturday night's show whose voice wasn't tampered with by the heinous use of Autotune.
But she might already have a recording contract, according to an American guy claiming to be her manager who blabbed about it to The News of the World.
Jason Silverman told the paper: "We're just about to release a record - it's brand new. She came to LA and we signed her to a two-record deal."
If this is true, X Factor bosses may have to boot the Madonna/Pixie Lott lookalike off of the show. A spokesman for the programme is quoted by the Daily Mail as saying:
"We are looking to the whole thing to see if a contract does exist and if there is found to be one, what the wording is.
"An existing record or management contract could result in Katie not being able to continue, but she is a fantastic contestant, and it demonstrates her determination to succeed in the business."
But we've uncovered something which really proves Katie Waissel/Katie Vogel/Lola Fontaine's desperation to be a big star. Check out this amazingly transparent marketing ploy.
It makes the acting on The Hills look Oscar worthy.
However, we still like Katie's chutzpah. And although she looks a lot more like Pixie Lott than Madonna, she's got the latter's desire to do literally anything for money, fame and power.
