X Factor 2010 got off to a shaky start yesterday, with us, and fans fuming that autotune was used to improve contestants' voices.
You'll recognise autotune from a fair few Cheryl Cole and Kanye West songs, but should it really be allowed in a talent show competition?
The Daily Mail, who have oddly refused to accompany any X Factor stories with pictures of a bikini-clas Geri Halliwell, has compiled a really long article about how fans took to twitter to complain about autotune, but if you just go here, you can see a real range of frustration.
Tom McFly was disappointed, tweeting: "Autotune on X-Factor is very annoying. Seems much worse than usual."
Lily Allen wasn't impressed either, tweeting: "X factor- FAIL. Too set up/scripted in my humble opinion. #Must be the Music"
11.1million people tuned in to the first episode of the new series, according to the BBC.
Were you one of those people? Did you enjoy X Factor? Or is it all too fake these days?
