Taylor Swift denied having a romantic relationship with Zac Efron while she made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres show.

The 'Begin Again' singer performed a love song with the Hollywood actor during her last appearance on the daytime talk show, prompting Ellen to probed her on whether the two hook-up.

"I haven't talked to him in a while because we didn't date," the country singer laughed.

However, Ellen wasn't quite done with her interrogation just yet and quizzed the blonde songstress on whether any of the songs off her Red album were written about the High School Musical hearthrob.

Ellen continued to joke with the 22-year-old about her colourful love life, convincing the star to play a game guessing which of her celebrity ex-boyfriends 'We Are Never Getting Back Together' was written about.

To which Taylor screamed jokingly: "Stop it, stop it, stop! This makes me feel so bad about myself. Every time I come up here you put a different dude up on the screen. It just makes me really question what I stand for as a human being."
