Liam Payne has revealed that One Direction would "crumble" without each other to lean on.

He told Now Magazine: "We all have this amazing brotherhood and that's what makes this job so special. If we didn't have each other I think we'd crumble a little bit."

Liam has always been seen as the "serious" member of 1D, but he said hanging out with the other lads has helped chill him out.

The newly single 19-year-old said: "I'm a lot different, actually. I've loosened up. I haven't changed myself, but I try to be nice and calm and relaxed about things now."
