Liam Payne has said he thinks The Wanted have made their career about him and his fellow bandmates Harry, Niall, Louis and Zayn.
Liam told Now Magazine: "The Wanted have made their career more about us than anything else."
He then went into more detail about the British boyband rivalry: "They do their dance music and we'll do our rock'n'roll kind of thing. They've constantly compared us in the press. They rose to the bait, whereas we've said they can do what they want.”
The 'Gotta be you' singer seemed shocked about some of the things The Wanted have said: "When we first spoke to them, when we were on the X Factor, they were really nice. But then you hear these stories and can't quite believe what people are saying."
Both bands have has success in the US and The Wanted were recently mistaken for One Direction at this year’s VMAs, you can watch the awkward moment below.
